Update on New Zealand’s Active Investor Plus Program: Grace Joins Minister Erica Stanford and ANZ Private Banking

We are delighted to share a recent highlight for our team — Grace, a licensed New Zealand immigration adviser since 2009, was invited to join New Zealand Immigration Minister Erica Stanford and ANZ Private Banking for an exclusive briefing on the progress of the Active Investor Plus (AIP) program.

The AIP program, launched to attract high-value investors to New Zealand, is already showing strong momentum. In just six weeks, 106 applications have been received by New Zealand Immigration. Out of these, 67 principal approvals — a clear sign of the program’s efficiency and appeal.

One of the most notable achievements so far is the turnaround time:
Fastest processing time: 2–4 weeks

This kind of responsiveness highlights the government’s commitment to maintaining a streamlined and investor-friendly migration pathway. The update, delivered alongside senior officials and banking partners, offered valuable insights into how the program is being implemented and where it’s headed.

As always, we remain committed to providing our clients with accurate, up-to-date guidance on investment migration options across Australia and New Zealand.

If you're interested in exploring the AIP program or other investor visa pathways, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team.
