Interviewing is an integral part of the employment process and its purpose is twofold:
* For the prospective employers: able to assess the applicants suitability and capability for the position;
* For the applicant: to sell their potential and suitability for the position to the prospective employers and obtain necessary information regarding the job.

Interview Tips:
* Prior to the interview: obtain as much information about the prospective employer. Familiarise yourself thoroughly with the contents of your CV that you sent with your application. Prepare relevant questions for the interviewer.
* Be on time: for a face to face interview arrive at the location ahead of time, for a phone interview be waiting by the phone in advance of the agreed time.
* When the interview commences remain calm, relaxed and adopt a positive tone and attitude.
* Listen carefully to the questions.
* Keep your answers clear and concise. Do not attempt to exaggerate.
* Expect tough questions and give yourself time to answer. Do not rush your answers and avoid the temptation of bluffing your way through. Be honest and concede your inability to answer them if necessary.
* At the end of the interview do not hesitate to ask the questions that you have prepared if it has not already be discussed throughout the duration.
* Most importantly remember to thank the interviewer for giving you his/her time.
